Intermediate Course

 

Course Information:

 

You will attain a nationally recognised RBIT Statement of Attainment listing the completed units of study:

SITHFAB204 Prepare and serve espresso coffee +

SITXFSA101 Use hygienic practices for food safety.

 

  • Prerequisites: Completion of Preliminary Training Course

  • Duration: Tuesday or Friday. Tuition & Practice (9 am ~ 4 pm)

  • Course credit: Unit competency

  • Fee: $250

 

Suitable for:

 

  • People with a little experience

  • People who would like to take their barista skills to the next level 

  • People who want to learn more advanced barista tecniques

 

 

Entirely hands-on, this course is spent perfecting all the cafe-style drinks in a stress-free learning environment.It's an opportunity to implement the skills and techniques gained in the introductory course.Completion of this training prepares students to enter the workforce as confident baristas.

  1. How to make "Professional Grade" coffee

  2. Use and Maintainance of Coffee Grinder

  3. Coffee Art Techniques

  4. Train how to take orders and use advanced POS system

  5. Work Experience in a Café

 

Cancellation policy

 

Due to the small numbers in our classes, we are unable to refund monies for students who do not turn up for coffee classes or decide at a later date after booking that that they do not want to attend. Changes to class times are allowed, but not within 48 hours of the class commencing.
