Preliminary Course

 

Course Information:

 

You will attain a nationally recognised RBIT Statement of Attainment listing the completed units of study:

SITHFAB005 Prepare and serve espresso coffee +

SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety.

 

  • Prerequisites: None

  • Duration: Tuesday or Friday. Tuition & Practice (9 am ~ 4 pm)

  • Course credit: Unit competency

  • Fee: $200

 

Suitable for:

 

  • People who have no experience;

  • People who have used an espresso machine previously, but who lack proper instruction on the finer aspects of making coffee;

  • People who love coffee and want to learn more about it;

 

The espresso coffee experience that actually teaches you how to identify all the key variables that go into making espressobase coffee then moves on to instruct you on putting all of those variables together at speed to make excellent finished coffees.

 

This course provides a solid foundation for those passionate about pursuing a career in the specialty coffee industry or for home baristas keen to achieve the best results in their home setting. Learning the fundamental skills and techniques required to produce all espresso based drinks to the highest standards and gain valuable information to fuel your coffee passion. Easy to follow step-by-step extraction, milk steaming and brewing techniques will help all skill levels achieve the best possible results at home.Suitable for beginners to active baristas interested in learning current and emerging industry trends.

Cancellation policy

 

Due to the small numbers in our classes, we are unable to refund monies for students who do not turn up for coffee classes or decide at a later date after booking that that they do not want to attend. Changes to class times are allowed, but not within 48 hours of the class commen
